As part of the project presented by Stefano Izzi’s I&S Study Center at the Ministry of Agricultural,

Food and Forestry Policies entitled “Study and research aimed at improving the security of the fishing industry in Italy”, a textbook is being produced which will contain the analysis carried out and the indications for a correct preventive activity against the ordinary and extraordinary risks of the fishing sector. The book contains an analysis of the current status and existing information. The aim of the text will be to provide each operator with the correct Guidelines created with security criteria, including the logistics and transport sector, with an analysis between the “maritime” operational phases of fishing and the “terrestrial” ones of the trade and distribution of the product until consumption.
